 I AND 'MALI' THE "WORLD'S SADDEST ELEPHANT"



This is me (wearing a sando with Mojack printed on it) in front of an Asian elephant's enclosure inside Manila Zoo with my cousins...during our family trip to the nation's capital almost 2- decades ago.


...Vishwa Ma'ali commonly known as Mali a female Asian elephant who lived at Manila Zoo in Manila …

Born in Sri Lanka, she was given as a gift to First Lady Imelda Marcos by the Sri Lankan government in 1981 and lived at Manila Zoo.

On November 28, 2023, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna announced that Mali had died at around 3:45 p.m. that day.

The Manila city government said it will preserve Mali's remains which would be displayed in a museum. It also considered requesting the Sri Lankan government a replacement elephant.

Ang elementary ay simula ng isang kahanga-hangang paglalakbay sa walang katapusang pag - aaral at pangarap. Taong 2003, nag-aaral na akong maglakbay. Sisimulan ko ito sa unag baitang sa elementarya. Binalak ni ina na ipasok ako sa SPED ngunit kung anong bagay ang pumigil sa akin. Hindi ko binuka ang bibig ko at naging blanko ang isipan ko at dahil dun hindi ako natanggap sa SPED. Ako ay nag-grade 1 sa Alabel Central Elementary School (ACES), mas kilala ang mga mag-aaral nito bilang regular. Totoong nakakapanibago. Sa ACES naging guro ko sa unang baitang si Gng. Gloria S. Dema-ala. Section Dahlia ang aking kinabibilangang pangkat at marami - rami din akong natutunan sa unang exposure ko sa tinatawag na social world. Ang araw ko ay isang routine na nakapattern sa dalawang pang-araw-araw na pagkilos, una ay paggising ng maaga at pag-aaral ng mabuti. Sa unang taon ko sa elementary ay isang karanasang labis kong inaalala dahil maraming tagpo sa grade 1 ko na nakalimutan ko na.
