The truth always comes to light
"They can bluff some of the people all the time, they can bluff all the people some of the time, but they cannot bluff all the people all the time."
As someone in public administration and information dissemination, this saying resonates deeply. It reminds me of the weight of my role as a Municipal Information Officer. I have the power to shape narratives, but with that power comes a responsibility to always strive for honesty and integrity.
There might be times when it’s tempting to present only the positive or to sidestep challenges for the sake of public perception. However, I know that trust is built on transparency, not on half-truths. I may succeed in swaying some opinions for a while, but sooner or later, the truth always comes to light.
This principle keeps me grounded and reminds me that genuine service requires authenticity. The trust and respect of the community are earned through consistent honesty, not temporary illusions.
